About Me

Emma Beers is a classically trained soprano and music educator from Palm Beach, Florida. Emma is in her final year of undergraduate study at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education degree along with a certificate in Vocal Performance. Emma studies in the voice studio of Professor Jeanette Thompson. She is a member of the Seraphic Fire Ensemble Artist Program, the undergraduate Soprano Section Leader and fourth-year member of the Frost Chorale, fourth-year member of Frost Opera Theater, and the 2024-2025 President of the University of Miami's chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. 


As an active performer, Emma holds extensive experience singing in both small and large professional choral ensembles, as well as in solo and operatic performances.


As an educator, Emma holds a background in teaching secondary choral, (6-12 grade), elementary choral, solo vocal music, as well as general music.


Although Emma has many future aspirations, she hopes achieve a career as a versatile operatic/choral singer and secondary choral conductor, and dreams of establishing a voice studio of her own.
