Emma Beers is a classically trained soprano from Palm Beach, Florida. Emma is entering her final year of undergraduate study at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education degree along with a certificate in Vocal Performance. Emma studies in the voice studio of Professor Jeanette Thompson. She is a member of the 2024-2025 Seraphic Fire Ensemble Artist Program, the undergraduate Soprano Section Leader and second-year member of the Frost Chorale, third-year member of Frost Opera Theater, and the 2024-2025 President of the University of Miami's chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.
Emma holds extensive experience singing in both small and large professional choral ensembles, as well as in solo and operatic performances. She also has a background in teaching vocal and general music, in addition to experience in choral conducting. Although Emma has many future aspirations, she hopes to attend graduate school for voice, achieve a career as a versatile operatic/choral singer and choral conductor, and dreams of establishing a voice studio of her own.
